With the historical storm that swept through the East Coast this past Saturday setting records for dates and accumulation, there was bound to be widespread damage across the affected areas. After 8 inches of snow came down in Montclair, NJ where I have been spending most of my time these days, it was the trees that caused the most damage. This early in the year with all the leaves still on the trees, the additional weight caused by the early snow was a terror, taking down limbs, full trees, and off the course any power lines that were in the way.
Here are some more pictures of the damage that is still days from being cleaned up, and Montclair was lucky not lose any full trees, only limbs...
